A WWE legend believes Gunther will win a major title at Night of Champions. The former leader of Imperium will be competing in a Triple Threat match for the Undisputed WWE Championship at the PLE tomorrow in Saudi Arabia.

Speaking on the Something to Wrestle podcast, JBL picked the 38-year-old to win the title and noted that a lot could happen in a Triple Threat match.

"Give me GUNTHER. In a triple threat match, so many things can happen that you have a reason for the babyface to have a b—- about it, because the babyface loses the title without being pinned. Now, all of a sudden, it’s a natural rematch that you have," he said.

The Hall of Famer noted that he was a big fan of everyone in the match but wanted to see The Ring General become champion once again.
"I hope, I think this is the time. I don’t know if it is or not. I’m a big fan of GUNTHER, and a big fan of Cody and Sami also, but give me GUNTHER to win this thing," he added. (H/T: WrestlingNews)

Gunther praises rising WWE star
SmackDown star Gunther recently praised Oba Femi and suggested that he had a bright future.
The Ruler will be competing against Jey Uso in the finals of the King of the Ring tournament at WWE Night of Champions tomorrow night. Speaking on the Huge Pop podcast, the veteran praised Femi and claimed he could be one of the pillars of the company moving forward.
