Adilabad: Major political parties -- the Congress, BJP and BRS -- are focusing on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process and creating awareness among their party cadres and leaders to protect the votes of their party followers/sympathisers.
BJP is focusing on identifying 'fake voters' and 'illegal migrant voters' and removing them from the electoral rolls, going by the lists of the 2002 voters and 2025 voters.

The Congress has appointed each supervisor for ten polling booths to oversee BLA's activities and insisted on the active role of booth supervisors and party mandal presidents; and BLA 2 in retaining the eligible votes under the special intensive revision of electoral rolls.

Already, it is conducting a training programme for their party cadre and leaders and BLA 2 at the assembly constituency level. Tourism minister and district in-charge Jupally Krishna Rao would attend the training programme for party BLA 2 at Adilabad and Bhainsa on June 27 and 28 respectively.
TPCC leaders asked the party BLA 2 to update the daily information about how many enumeration forms they have completed and handed over to BLOs. It constituted a committee with eight members to oversee the daily updates about the enumeration forms. Daily reports would be sent to Gandhi Bhavan.

Congress leaders have been told they must focus on mapping the unmapped electors, municipality ward-wise in the urban areas.
The BJP is conducting training programmes for party BLA2 at mandal, assembly constituency and district levels and activated ‘Shakti Kendras’ on SIR.
A senior BJP leader of Nirmal said they were asked not to give publicity for their training programmes for party leaders vis-a-vis the SIR of electoral rolls, and added that they were focusing on identifying fake voters and illegal migrant voters and removing them, going by the 2002 and 2025 voters’ lists.

Meanwhile, BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao is attending the training programmes across the state for party BLA 2 about the process of SIR and how to retain the party sympathisers’ names and enroll young voters who would be 18 years by October 1, 2026.
Rama Rao recently attended a training programme for party BLA 2 at Neredigonda in Adilabad district.
